In 1977, after graduating from the University of Akron, Francine Good replied to a help wanted ad for Mattress Warehouse. After being hired and working at the company stores for a few months, she decided to go into business for herself. With a loan from her parents, she opened her first store at the age of 22 in North Canton, Ohio. In 1983, she expanded operations to Fort Wayne, Indiana and by 1996 three stores were established to better serve Fort Wayne and the surrounding area. Francine believes that everyone deserves to sleep well, no matter their budget, and that is the concept that Mattress Warehouse practices to this day. We stock the widest variety of name brand mattress sets in the region and sell them at warehouse prices.
